<p>Rather than staying with what is essentially a singles match, and having one kid potentially not get to play each week, why not offer a Smash:Ultimate Crew league? Still offer singles (but do it as ACTUAL singles, and not the pseudo team singles thing that exists now), but emphasize the team aspect of crew.</p>
